Author of the children’s books
“Harry MacFly’s Old Mill Adventure” & “Real Treasure”
Robert E. Reich was born June 18, 1949 in Kenosha, Wisconsin where he grew up, went to school, married, divorced, and raised four daughters. In 1991, after a five year engagement, he tied the knot with his best friend Karen. They were married in Jamaica at the Tryall Golf Course overlooking the ocean. Later, they moved to Rockford, Michigan where the idea to write children’s books was born. A few years later, they moved to Northford, Connecticut along with the rough drafts, and finally in 1999 to Overland Park, Kansas where they reside today with their two cats – O.P. (who thinks he is a dog) and K.C. (who knows she is a princess).
During his many years in Kenosha, Bob was past President of the United Steelworkers Local 90322 as well as a member of the Moose and Danish Brotherhood. His many interests include golf, traveling, motorcycle riding, spending time with family and friends, collecting movies, cooking, baking, sports, theater, and music. Bob’s love for drawing, and a vivid imagination, lead to writing and illustrating Harry MacFly’s Adventure stories and “Color This Read” books. He wanted to give something to his nine grandchildren and great-grandchildren to enjoy.
He is now happily retired, planning his days around the Honey-Do List and his books.
This is a wonderful book for kids! And, makes great Christmas or Birthday presents too! Get it on your kindle if you cannot get the print version. Looking forward to more from Mr. Reich.
This is such a cute story! It is fun to find Harry MacFly hiding in the pictures. I know my grandchildren will love this book!
This is a fun story for the kids. Besides the cute story the kids can go back for a surprise they read about in the book. I will be giving this book for Christmas presents this year! Great job Mr. Robert Reich! Keep on writing!
